I was blessed with the chance to read a lot of great books this year. While I finished the year just a bit short of my goal of reading 52 books (wound up with 51…not too bad considering I didn’t even think of going for 52 until about July), I still read more this year than in any other year of my life. It was somewhat difficult to choose just 10 favorites, but here they are in no particular order: Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World has Never Seen by Christopher McDougall Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream by David Platt The Reason for God by Tim Keller Christless Christianity by Michael Horton Justice: What’s the Right Thing to Do by Michael J. Sandel Stuff Christians Like by Jonathan Acuff Made To Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die by Chip Heath and Dan Heath Vintage Church: Timeless Truths and Timely Methods by Mark Driscoll and Gerry Breshears Rediscovering Values On Wall Street, Main Street, and Your Street: A Moral Compass for the New Economy by Jim Wallis Did you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What are some of your favorite books that I should put on my list for 2011?
